LAKE KARAPIRO, WAIKATO PHOTOS

Lake Karapiro is a man-made reservoir on the Waikato River located 8 kilometres southeast of Cambridge, famous as a world-class rowing venue and hydroelectricity source. Formed in 1947, it hosts major water sports and provides scenic recreation areas.
